Manford’s beloved Man City crashed out of the Champions League last night as Pep Guardiola’s side succumbed to a stunning Real Madrid fightback.
Leading 1-0 in the final moments of the semi-final second leg, the tournament’s 13-time winners scored two late goals after the 90-minute mark to send the fixture into extra time.
Prior to that point, City were cruising and looked set to join English club rivals Liverpool in the final.
But Rodrygo’s two late goals sent the Spanish league champions into extra time, paving the way for a Karim Benzema penalty to send them through.

It spelt heartbreak for City – and Liverpool’s place in the final only makes things worse for their bruised fanbase.
Stand-up comedian Manford is no exception.
After the match’s dramatic conclusion, he tweeted: “For sale. 2 flights from Manchester to Paris. May 28th. Will NOT sell to Scousers.”
The tweet was met with good humour by Liverpool and City fans alike.
Responding to one mocking image from a Liverpool supporter, Manford wrote: “Haha good luck in the final son.”
City boss Guardiola was clearly bruised after yet another disappointing night in Europe’s premier competition for his side.
He said: “It is tough for us, I cannot deny.
"We were so close to the Champions League final.
"Now we need to process that and come back, with our people at home and in the last four games we have."
Since he joined City in 2016, they have been knocked out in the quarter-finals three times and reached their first final last season, losing to Chelsea.
They are still yet to win the competition.
