Winners of the Campaign Media Company of the Year Awards 2026 will be announced on April 22

GB News is in the running for two major awards at the prestigious Campaign Media Company of the Year Awards 2026.

The People’s Channel has been shortlisted in both the Start-Up and News Brand categories.

The recognition marks a significant milestone for Britain’s number one news channel, and reflects its continued growth and impact within the UK media landscape.

The Campaign Media Company of the Year Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and performance across the industry - and this year’s competition is particularly strong.

GB News’ dual shortlisting therefore highlights the strength of its proposition as both a fast-growing media business and an established national media brand.

It also reflects the organisation’s ongoing commitment to delivering distinctive content, driving audience engagement, and building a compelling commercial offering for partners.

Commenting Nicole O’Shea, Commercial Director at GB News, said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted in both the Start-Up and News Brand categories at Campaign’s Media Company of the Year Awards 2026. To be recognised in such a competitive sector is a proud moment for everyone at GB News.

“It has been an important year of progress for the business, and this shortlisting reflects the hard work, resilience and ambition of our teams. While we remain focused on what comes next, it is encouraging to see that journey recognised by the industry.“

We are pleased to be in such strong company on the shortlist and wish all those nominated the very best of luck.”
