GB News Radio’s phenomenal growth has hit a new record-breaking high, official audience data reveals today.
According to the latest RAJAR figures GB News Radio weekly audience has grown to 684,000 rising 25 per cent in the space of three months and 12 per cent year-on-year.In comparison, Talk Radio saw its audiences plummet 12 per cent year-on-year.

Times Radio meanwhile recorded an eight per cent drop quarter-on-quarter.
It means GB News has now soared past both Talk Radio and Times Radio - and is officially Britain’s fastest growing radio station.

Programme growth:
From Breakfast through to its late night prime time shows, GB News Radio is growing its audience during the week and at weekends at a staggering-rate.
The Latest RAJAR data, which covers July 1 to September 30 (Quarter 3) reveals the following:
Weekdays
- Dewbs and Co, Monday to Friday:18:00-19:00 saw audiences leap 232 per cent in the last three months. This is the single biggest quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) jump across the GB News Radio schedule. The programme’s year-on-year reach was also up by 130 per cent.
- Britain’s Newsroom, Monday to Friday 09:30-12:00 recorded a 73 per cent QoQ rise. Its year on year reach was up 210 per cent - which is the biggest annual rise across the schedule.
- GB News Breakfast, 06:00 to 09:30 saw audiences leap by 40 per cent QoQ and 147% YoY. The numbers cement the show’s position as the powerhouse anchor of the GB News Radio schedule.
- Patrick Christys Tonight, Monday to Friday 21:00-23:00 saw audiences rocket by 96% QoQ - almost-doubling its reach. The show’s year on year reach was also up by an impressive 132 per cent.
- Farage, Monday to Thursday: 19:00-20:00 has seen audiences sky-rocket too. They jumped by 140 per cent QoQ and 89 per cent YoY.
- Lee Anderson, Friday 19:00-20:00 saw huge growth as well. The show’s audience leapt by 139 per cent QoQ. Year on year reach was up 167 per cent.
- State of the Nation, 20:00-21:00 is attracting rising numbers of listeners too. The show saw its audience soar by 91 per cent QoQ. Its year on year reach was up 134 per cent.
- Good Afternoon Britain, Monday to Friday, 12:00-15:00 saw its audiences jump by 73 per cent QoQ, its year on year reach has also soared up by a massive 114 per cent.
- Martin Daubney 15:00 to 18:00 recorded strong growth with audiences rising 40 per cent QoQ and a massive 106 per cent YoY.
At Weekends GB News Radio programmes have also seen a huge growth in numbers. Saturdays
- Saturday Morning Live, 10:00–12:00: Saw audiences leap by 185 per cent QoQ, the strongest rise across the Saturday schedule. The show’s year-on-year reach was up 180 per cent.
- Nana Akua, 15:00–18:00: Nana’s show was up 55 per cent QoQ, and 105 per cent YoY, meaning the programme has now DOUBLED its reach year-on-year as it commands an even larger following of loyal listeners.
- The Weekend, 12:00–15:00: Was up 92 per cent QoQ, and by 143 per cent YoY as soaring numbers of new listeners now tune in on Saturdays.
- GB News Breakfast, 06:00–10:00: Like in the week numbers are soaring. They are up 86 per cent QoQ, and a phenomenal 148 per YoY on Saturdays.
- Ben Leo Tonight/Alex Armstrong Tonight, 21:00–23:00: The show has seen a 40 per cent QoQ rise, and a huge 179 per cent YoY increase.
- The Saturday Five Extra, 20:00–21:00: The show was up 29 per cent QoQ, and 198 per cent YoY meaning it has TRIPLED its audience year-on-year.
- The Saturday Five 18:00–20:00: The programme was up 22 per cent QoQ, and 96 per cent YoY as Britain’s boldest Saturday-night creates a new army of fans and followers.
Sundays
- GB News Breakfast, 06:00–09:30: The Sunday edition of Breakfast secured remarkable growth - up 156 per cent QoQ. This is the largest reach increase across Sunday programming. The show’s YoY figures were up by 265 per cent helping to turbocharge overall Sunday growth on the station.
- The Camilla Tominey Show, 09:30–11:00: Britain’s best political show is breaking records too - it leapt 68 per cent QoQ and a staggering 255 per cent YoY.
- Free Speech Nation, 19:00–21:00: – The show doubled (100 per cent) its audience QoQ, as it cemented its Sunday evening appeal. YoY figures grew by 196 per cent.
- Sunday with Michael Portillo, 11:00–13:00: The show’s audience leapt by 99 per cent QoQ, and rose by a massive 169 per cent YoY.
- The Weekend 13:00–15:00: The Sunday performance mirrored its Saturday growth with audiences up 39 per cent QoQ, and 1625 per cent YoY.
- Nana Akua 15:00–18:00: Like on Saturdays more and more people are tuning in to Nana’s show. Audiences on Sundays are up 38 per cent QoQ, and 72 per cent YoY.
- The Camilla Tominey Show Highlights 18:00–19:00: The repeat of Camilla Tominey’s show is drawing in a rising audience too. Numbers were up 44 per cent QoQ, and a huge 145 per cent YoY.
More and more younger listeners turn to GB News Radio
The performance means GB News is the fastest growing radio station in the UK and now boasts a higher growth in reach and hours, quarter-on-quarter, and year-on-year than any other commercial network or national BBC/Commercial station.
The surge has been driven by younger listeners with its 15-34-year-old audience numbers more than doubling quarter on quarter.
GB News Radio also saw a surge in AB audiences which leapt by 32 per cent quarter on quarter.
