GB News beat Sky News every day throughout November, and remained ahead of BBC News Channel cementing its position as Britain’s number one news channel.
Official BARB ratings show the People’s Channel attracted more viewers than Sky News for 30 consecutive days last month.
The data, taken from BARB’s industry-standard audience figures for November 2025, track total audience share and average views.
Between 6am and 2am, GB News saw its average views rise by 25 per cent, from 91.5k to 99.9k. In comparison, Sky News recorded 79.1k average views and BBC News Channel recorded 64.2k, putting GB News firmly on top for the fifth month in a row.
From breakfast and daytime programming through to evening prime-time, GB News came out on top over Sky News on both weekdays and weekends.
The channel’s award-winning GB News Breakfast show secured record-breaking numbers, shrugging off a revamped Sky News breakfast programme to remain far in front.
The Camilla Tominey Show also achieved its highest-ever audience figures last month, with strong growth for her Sunday morning show.
GB News also won the ratings battle on Budget Day as viewers turned to the People’s Channel ahead of the BBC News Channel and Sky News.
Audiences similarly flocked to GB News for major breaking stories including the Cambridge knife attack, fallout from the BBC crisis sparked by the resignations of Tim Davie and Deborah Turness, and the channel’s world exclusive interview with Donald Trump.
Ben Briscoe, GB News’ Head of Programming, said: “November saw our ratings success reach a new high. More and more people across Britain are turning to GB News to ensure they get the best coverage of the biggest news stories.
“We’ve now been in the number-one spot for five consecutive months and, as we move into 2026, we’re looking forward to welcoming even more people into the GB News family.
“Our journalism provides a voice to people across all parts of Britain, and it has never been more important.
“We will continue to deliver the bold and fearless coverage our viewers love and rightly expect.”
