GB News has smashed through another milestone by chalking up three million followers on TikTok.

The People’s Channel has leapt from 2,000,000 to 3,000,000 followers on the platform in just six months, which is more than 5,500 new followers every single day.

Nearly 80 per cent of 18-24-year-olds in the UK are now on TikTok with GB News helping power the spectacular growth of the platform in this country.

Geoff Marsh, GB News’ Chief Content Officer, said: “These remarkable numbers show the incredible pace at which we’ve grown, and this marks an amazing milestone for us.

“TikTok has become a go-to destination for our best on-air moments, as well as eye-catching original content.

“From breaking news to insightful, respectful debate to exclusives that are the envy of our rivals, our TikTok channel is now a great place to find and engage with our fearless and bold journalism.”

Clips from Bev Turner’s recent world exclusive interview with President Donald Trump in the White House, first aired on The Late Show Live, were watched more than 10 million times.

The TikTok success comes just two weeks after GB News announced it had clocked up 2.5 billion views on YouTube.

The astonishing figure equates to 12.24 billion minutes watched, making GB News one of the fastest-growing channels in the history of the world’s largest online video platform.

Audiences are engaging with a wide range of content, including full programmes, exclusive cutting-edge documentaries from GB News Originals, long-form interviews, TV catch-up, highlights, podcasts, and more.

Responding to growing viewer demand, Britain’s News Channel has also launched a second YouTube stream, GBN2, dedicated to continuous live coverage of major breaking news events.
