The legislation, which could come into force as early as January 17, is set to remove the option of showing a negative test in order to enter venues.
French politician Stephane Claireaux says he will file a legal complaint over the attack, and revealed he had received "death threats by mail' in comments on Monday.
The 57-year-old told France Info: "I am obviously going to launch a legal complaint. Some people think the right decisions are not being made.
'We are all receiving death threats by mail, at some moment this has to stop".
He added: “My wife came to meet me on the front steps of the house. I dodged a pebble that missed our faces by about 5cm".
French Minister of Overseas Annick Girardin hit out at the protesters.
'The attack on Stephane Claireaux outside his own house during a demonstration against the health pass is totally unacceptable. The images are extremely shocking," said Girardin.
Minister for France’s overseas territories Sébastien Lecornu condemned the attack, describing it as a "'lynching in front of his family home".
French President Emmanuel Macron last week outlined his hopes to "p*** off" the unvaccinated.
Macron said to Le Parisien: "The unvaccinated, I really want to piss them off. And so we're going to continue doing so until the end. That's the strategy".
