A group of proud Britons have told GB News that they "shouldn't be ashamed" of the British flag after their displays were targeted by locals.
Speaking to the People's Channel from their quiet cul-de-sac in Faversham, Kent, the neighbours hit out at the "disgraceful" attacks on their flag displays, declaring British culture "shouldn't be erased".
The residents told GB News host Patrick Christys of the trouble they have faced in recent weeks, having their flags torn down and "threats" stuck to their properties.
One local expressed fear for her four young children's safety after having a sticker stuck onto her property, which read: "We all bleed the same, stand up to prejudice and free Palestine."

Asked by Patrick why they feel so strongly about displaying the Union and St George's flags, one man told GB News: "We shouldn't be ashamed of our flag. Our country's got a brilliant history, and there's a lot of countries around that would love to have the same history that our country's got.
"We should not have our culture erased, and that's the way it's going at the moment."
Highlighting the safety concerns in their area for asylum seekers being housed near their local primary school, a mum-of-four told Patrick: "I've got four young children at the school, and it's just constant anxiety of dropping them at school, where they're meant to be safe, but are they safe?
"Are these undocumented males next door, what are they doing? What is their purpose here? My mum's house backs off to it, and I don't trust my kids to walk from the house to anywhere on their own anymore."

Detailing an incident which targeted her property, the mum revealed an image of a sticker which was branded onto her fence for having a Union Jack flag in her back garden.
Showing Patrick the photo on her phone, the local recalled: "They stuck a sticker on my back fence basically stating 'we all bleed the same, stand up to prejudice and free Palestine, a free country'.
"And I personally I find that a bit of a threat."
Speaking to another resident of the neighbourhood, he denied that patriotic displays of the British flags are conflated with "racism".

He stated: "It's definitely not racist. The Union Flag exists as a symbol of unity of the United Kingdom. We our people, our British people deserve to have a flag that represents them.
"We are flying them proudly and we should fly them proudly. What other country in the world has this kind of chaos going on? It's a disgrace."
Vowing to put "more flags up" if her displays are taken down again, another lady told GB News: "I'm British and I'm English, and that is my thing, why shouldn't we do it?
"If they take them down, we'll put more up."
