GB News presenter Martin Daubney was lost for words after a police chief claimed raising St George's flags and Union Jacks in public were "intimidating".
Emily Spurrell, chairwoman of the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC), blasted "Operation Raise the Colours" at a national conference on Tuesday.
Raising flags is "disturbing, intimidating and does not reflect British values", Ms Spurrell argued.
Martin was left utterly exasperated at her comments, saying: "I'm just lost for words. The Police and Crime Commissioner is actually telling all the top coppers in Britain that flags are intimidating.

"If she finds flags intimidating, go to another country!"
At the conference, Ms Spurrell added raising the flags was "sowing fear" and "fuelling division", while Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is "demonising communities" with her new asylum crackdown.
"Operation Raise the Colours" is a movement aiming to boost patriotism in Britain, although many have criticised the campaign over concerns of stirring up hatred and fuelling division.
Debating the topic with senior commentator Nigel Nelson, Martin delivered a fiery tirade, blasting Ms Spurrell for her claim.
"Does she feel intimidated by the Palestinian flag? I bet she doesn't," Martin asked.

"Or does she feels intimidated by pride flags? I bet she doesn't.
"Well, specifically and deliberately, once again, choosing the national flag to get intimidated about. It's pathetic!"
Nigel chimed in, saying: "Well, I don't know whether she's intimidated by Palestinian flags, Ukranian flags, whatever flags.
"But she is making a point that, in her view, putting up flags, the Union Jack and the St George's flag is a divisive statement.

Nigel Nelson argued the PCC chief was simply voicing her opinion

Speaking at the summit of Britain's top coppers and PCCs, Ms Spurrell declared: "Flags are an expression of our identity and proudly fly outside our police buildings.
"But when they are used to provoke fear and assert dominance, they become tools of division. That is not free expression, that is intimidation.
"These actions are sowing fear, fuelling division and leaving our neighbours, our colleagues and our friends feeling unsafe in their homes and afraid to walk down the street.
"These actions do not reflect the values of our country. Compassion, fairness and respect are the values that bind us together."
PCCs are soon to be abolished, however, with Labour planning to scrap the roles up and down the nation by 2028.
In the process, the Goverment boasted saving the taxpayer a whopping £100million by binning off the elected policing officials.
Approximately £20million each year will be reinvested into the Home Office in a bid to boost the number of frontline officers and cut crime.
Officials confirmed axing PCCs will "cut the cost of unnecessary bureaucracy".
