The winnings would make the lucky ticket holder richer than singer Dua Lipa or England striker Harry Kane

One lucky ticket holder could become the UK's biggest ever lottery winner in tonight's record-breaking EuroMillions draw, with the jackpot reaching a massive £199million.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, which operates The National Lottery, has urged Britons to purchase their tickets early ahead of the draw.

"We are now on the verge of creating the biggest National Lottery winner this country has ever seen, as the EuroMillions jackpot will be an estimated £199million this Tuesday," he said.

"Get your tickets early to ensure you'll be in with a chance of a massive life-changing win."

The prize rolled over after nobody matched the winning numbers in Friday's draw, when the jackpot stood at £185million.

If a single UK ticket holder wins the entire jackpot, they would instantly become richer than celebrities, including Dua Lipa and Harry Kane, landing at the number one spot of The National Lottery's biggest wins.

The current UK record stands at £195million, won by an anonymous ticket holder on July 19, 2022.

Just two months earlier, Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester claimed £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket in the May 10, 2022, draw.

The UK's third biggest win came from an anonymous ticket holder who scooped £177million in the draw on November 26 last year.

This year's biggest jackpot was £83million in January, followed by a £65million prize in February.

Friday's draw saw 18 ticket holders match five numbers without the lucky stars, earning £11,422.70 each.

A further 59 players matched four numbers and two lucky stars, securing £1,085.40 each.
