An unprecedented gesture during President Trump's state visit saw him and First Lady Melania Trump travel by royal carriage through Windsor Castle's grounds, a privilege never before extended during such diplomatic occasions.
US Political commentator Nora Lee Notzon characterised the exceptional arrangement as "a significant gesture of friendship" that would establish foundations for enhanced commercial partnerships between Britain and America.
Military personnel from the Household Cavalry assembled at Windsor Castle for the historic welcome.

Speaking on GB News, Ms Notzon said: "There’s a lot of business being announced.
"This morning, GSK confirmed a $30billion investment in the US and that’s a win for America.
"It’s also been announced that there will be a $100 billion investment in the UK from Blackstone, and BlackRock has committed $500million to AI data centres here.
"That’s crucial to our national security. The focus will be on the positive developments happening between the US and the UK."

"For them, this will be one of the highlights of their careers welcoming a US president. Mr Trump will be delighted to see the finery of the British military on display; nobody does it better."

The American president arrived at London Stansted Airport on Tuesday via Air Force One, with the First Lady accompanying him for the three-day diplomatic engagement.
Following their landing, the presidential party travelled to the US ambassador's official residence in the capital.
During Wednesday's programme of events, the presidential couple paid their respects at the final resting place of Queen Elizabeth II.
Mr and Mrs Trump placed a wreath at the late monarch's tomb within St George's Chapel at Windsor.
