The Met Police have named the victims of a quadruple killing in Bermondsey, London.

The inquiry follows a call to police at 01:42hrs on Monday, 25 April that reported a disturbance at a residential address on Delaford Road.

Officers forced entry into the premises after nobody reported to the door, sparking concern over the welfare of those inside the property.

Inside they found four people, three women and a man, who had been stabbed.

Despite the best efforts of the paramedics and the police officers, all four were pronounced dead on the scene.

Inside they found four people, three women and a man, who had been stabbed.

The victims have been named as Denton Burke, 58 and his partner Dolet Hill, 64, lived together on Delaford Road in Southwark.

Tanysha (aka Rachquel) Ofori-Akuffo, 45, who is Dolet Hill’s daughter and lived in Kennington, Southwark.

Samantha Drummonds, 27, who is Tanysha’s daughter and lived in Forest Hill, Lewisham.

Despite the best efforts of the paramedics and the police officers, all four were pronounced dead on the scene.

A 28-year-old man was also found on the scene, and officers set about using a taser in order to detain the individual, before arresting him on suspicion of murder.

He remains under arrest while in hospital being treated, While also in a stable condition.

Special post-mortem examinations have been arranged for Tuesday, 26 April and Wednesday, 27 April after which formal identification is due to take place.

Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, who leads the investigation, said: “This was a truly horrific incident and I fully recognise that the distress for the family and the community will be overwhelming.
