A row at an Aldi car park escalated after a woman allegedly "threw a hot drink" on a mum in front of her children.
The altercation outside the supermarket at Abbey Retail Park, in Daventry, west Northamptonshire, occurred over a parent and child parking space, police said.
It happened between 1.10pm and 1.15pm on December 8.
One woman allegedly threw the drink over another, who was with her two children.

The suspect then "aggressively reversed her vehicle at speed", Northamptonshire Police said.
The force added that the vehicle stopped just "inches away" from the mother's car.
Police described the suspect as a white woman in her late 60s who is around 5ft 4ins tall.
She was said to be of a stocky build with short brown bobbed hair with a red tinge.

|Witnesses of the incident have been urged to contact the police.
Latest figures show that violence and sexual offences were the type of crime most frequently dealt with by Northamptonshire Police in the town of Daventry in 12 months between December 2024 and November 2025.
Official data shows 802 violent and sexual offences occurred during this time period.
This was followed by 606 cases of anti-social behaviour, which accounted for 27.3 per cent of crime in the area within these 12 months.
