People have taken to social media to voice their displeasure at a Covid-19 policy enforced by Aldi.
In a post to Twitter, a user shared their unsuccessful job application for the supermarket chain, with the company citing a lack of a Covid vaccine or a medical exemption.
The poster commented: "Well guess I can't work at Aldi."
Others have taken to the website to make their stance on the issue known, with one commenter saying: "I suppose I should reconsider spending my money there also."

Another user said: "I haven’t shopped there since they introduced this dystopian rule. It is not the role of an employer to make medical decisions for employees."
Aldi have looked to justify their stance in a statement on the application, saying: "It is a condition of employment with Aldi that employees have had two doses of an approved Covid-19 vaccine.
"This condition applies to all employees across stores, warehouse, transport and offices.
"You have indicated that you do not meet these requirements, so we are unable to progress your application."
The official guidelines are those of the Australian Aldi chain, which has different rules to Aldi UK.
The UK chain does not require staff to be vaccinated in order for them to work at their stores.
Aldi UK have addressed the differing rules, saying in a post on Twitter: "This does not apply to colleagues here in the UK but was a decision taken by Aldi Australia, where several other businesses and some states require all retail staff to be vaccinated."
While the vast majority of workers in the UK do not require a vaccination, it is a condition for all frontline health and social care workers in the NHS.
