Millions of Tesco customers could be in line for a surprise clubcard boost this summer as the major supermarket rolls out an "amazing" new reward deal.
Shoppers are being urged to act fast to take advantage of the limited-time offer before it disappears.
Tesco is giving away free Clubcard points as part of its summer Days Out deal, celebrating 30 years of Clubcard Rewards.
The supermarket giant is offering 1,000 Clubcard points, worth £10, to customers who exchange at least £5 of their Clubcard vouchers with one of Tesco’s Days Out Reward Partners.
That means shoppers can unlock £10 worth of points for free, simply by using their existing vouchers towards experiences like theme parks, zoos, or family attractions.
The free points can then be used on future shopping or more rewards.
However, to qualify for the giveaway, customers must exchange their vouchers before July 29. The deal can only be redeemed once per Clubcard.
Celebrating the launch of the offer, Shama Wilson, Tesco’s Group Membership and Loyalty Director, said: "We know our customers are always looking for things to do across the summer, especially during school holidays, and so this is always a popular time for Clubcard members to exchange their vouchers for double their value with Reward Partners.

"It means you can exchange your vouchers and get great savings while getting £10 of points in return to go towards your weekly shop or even another great day out later in the year."

GETTYTesco also offers other ways for customers to boost their points quickly through its Clubcard Challenges.
The personalised challenges vary for each shopper and reward them with points for completing everyday purchases. Some customers have reported receiving up to £50 in points through these offers.
One shopper said: "This will be my second time, I got the full £50 back today just from buying what I usually buy." Another shared on social media they earned £32 through a challenge.
