Santander UK has unveiled two initiatives aimed at easing financial pressure on families during the Christmas period.
The bank introduced the schemes today, offering customers a £200 bonus for transferring their current account and complimentary annual membership to Kids Pass.
The dual promotion targets both prospective and current customers seeking financial relief as festive expenses mount.
Those who complete a current account transfer via the Current Account Switch Service can claim the cash reward, whilst anyone establishing a new savings account or Cash ISA receives the family discount membership valued at £39.99.
The £200 incentive applies to customers transferring to several Santander accounts, including Everyday, Edge, Edge Up, Edge Explorer or Private accounts.
Applicants must initiate their transfer from today onwards and finalise the process within two months, ensuring their previous account closes completely.
Meeting the criteria involves depositing a minimum of £1,500 into the new account during this timeframe, whether through single or multiple transactions.
The £200 switching offer is for a "limited time" and may be withdrawn at any time, Santander said. The Kids Pass offer may also be withdrawn at any time and is limited to one code per customer, it added.

The complimentary Kids Pass programme provides year-round savings on entertainment and dining for families who establish any savings account or Cash ISA with Santander.
The membership unlocks reduced prices for cinema visits, tourist attractions, restaurants and school holiday activities.
