Savers have only hours left to take advantage of Santander's free £180 cash offer as the bank's switching incentive is set to expire at 11:59pm tonight.
The high street bank will withdraw its current account switching deal after several months of availability, leaving potential customers with mere hours to submit their applications.
The incentive, which launched in May, rewards customers who transfer their banking to Santander through the Current Account Switch Service (CASS).
Applications submitted before tonight's deadline remain valid even if the switching process completes after the offer ends.

It should be noted that the promotion applies to transfers into Santander's Everyday, Edge, Edge Up or Private current accounts.
To qualify for the payment, customers must satisfy several conditions within 60 days of initiating their switch.
A minimum deposit of £1,500 is required in the new account, though this can be split across multiple transactions.
Additionally, switchers must establish at least two active household direct debits. Qualifying bills include utilities, council tax, mobile contracts, broadband services and television subscriptions.

The switching process must be fully completed through CASS within the 60-day window, including closure of the previous bank account.
Those who maintained a Santander account on January 1, 2025 cannot participate, though customers who opened accounts after this date may still be eligible.
Recent switching data reveals that individuals aged 25 to 40 demonstrate the highest propensity for changing banks.
This demographic represents 41 per cent of all account switches, despite comprising just 20 per cent of England and Wales's population.
The figures show 91,279 people in this age bracket utilised the switching service, significantly outpacing older generations. Those above 40, who constitute 51 per cent of the population, accounted for 48 per cent of switches.
Younger adults under 25 proved least likely to change banks, contributing only 11 per cent of switches despite representing 29 per cent of the population.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Upon its launch, Anthony Warrington, the head of Banking at Santander UK, explained why the incentive offer was being launched.
Warrington said: "Summer is fast approaching, and many people will be saving up for the holidays - whether it be for that trip abroad, festival, or day out with the family."
He added: "That's why we're pleased to be introducing our new £180 switcher incentive, providing even more value for customers making the move to Santander."
The bank confirmed that eligible customers will receive their £180 within 90 days of completing the switch.
