Revolut has launched its most expensive premium account to date, offering customers a package of travel perks, subscriptions and rewards the digital bank claims could be worth up to £9,000 annually.
The new Ultra account costs £55 per month, equivalent to £650 a year, making it one of the priciest packaged banking products currently available in the UK market.
Revolut said the account includes more than 16 subscriptions and lifestyle benefits valued at around £4,000 per year, alongside travel insurance and airport lounge access.
Customers signing up to the Ultra package will also receive unlimited entry to more than 1,000 airport lounges worldwide, with complimentary food and drinks included.
The account additionally offers 3GB of global mobile data every month through eSIM coverage across more than 100 countries.
Ultra customers earn one reward point for every £1 spent using the card, with points redeemable against airline miles, hotel bookings and mobile data packages.
A large portion of the package centres on included subscriptions spanning travel, fitness, entertainment and productivity services.
The package includes Tinder Gold, Uber One membership with restaurant discounts and delivery benefits, 20 monthly ClassPass credits and a Headspace subscription.

Other services included within the package are NordVPN’s 1TB cloud storage plan, sports publication The Athletic and three monthly WeWork credits for flexible office space.
Additional memberships include Chess.com, Perplexity Pro, Picsart Gold and Headway Premium.
The account also includes access to Turo, the peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace.
Revolut said Ultra members can claim refunds worth up to 70 per cent on cancelled trips or events booked through the platform.

Annual refunds are capped at £5,000, while bookings must be made at least 72 hours before departure and claims submitted at least 24 hours before travel.
The account further includes unlimited international money transfers without additional fees and unrestricted foreign currency exchange.
The launch places Revolut Ultra among the most expensive premium banking products currently offered to UK consumers.
Rival packaged current accounts remain significantly cheaper by comparison.
Santander’s Edge Explorer account costs £17 per month and includes cashback rewards, fee-free overseas spending and family travel insurance.
Nationwide’s FlexPlus account is priced at £18 per month and includes travel insurance alongside breakdown cover.
Andrew Hagger, personal finance expert at MoneyComms, warned customers to carefully assess whether they would use enough benefits to justify the monthly fee.
He said: "Like all added value accounts, if you don't make full use of the benefits on offer then it's not a financially viable account."
He also urged consumers to review any existing subscriptions and insurance products before signing up in order to avoid duplicate spending.
Financial experts said the value of packaged bank accounts often depends on how frequently customers use the included perks and services.
Consumers considering the Ultra account may therefore need to compare the standalone cost of individual subscriptions and travel benefits against the total annual fee.
For customers who would only use a limited number of features, separate subscriptions could prove more cost-effective than paying for the full package.
