A much-loved Italian restaurant chain has closed down for good after 70 years of business, with the family-owned eatery confirming it has fallen into administration.
Spaghetti House has shut down all of its restaurants in a major loss to its customers and classic Italian food lovers.
According to the restaurant group, it is one of London's oldest family-owned Italian food chains but this was not enough to stop the business going under.
Based on a statement posted on the Spaghetti House website, all of the chain's restaurants have been closed down with immediate effect.

In a direct message to its customers, the statement read: "We’re sorry all our restaurants are now closed.
"We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our loyal customers, partners, and team members, past and present, for your support over the years. From our family to yours, Grazie."
Spaghetti House was founded in 1955 and operated in five iconic locations across London before confirming the business was in administration.
These locations included Marble Arch, Carnaby Street, Oxford Street, Kensington High Street, and Cranbourn Street.

The Italian cuisine chain's owner, Lavval Restaurants Ltd, was placed in administration on May 6, 2026.
Insolvency firm BTG Begbies Traynor LLP appointed as administrators immediately after the business filed.
