National Savings and Investment (NS&I) has revealed the lucky winners for June 2025's Premium Bonds prize draw with two savers set to take home £1million jackpot.
Unlike traditional savings accounts, Premium Bonds do not accrue interest in a traditional way with bond holders enrolled in a monthly prize draw.
Customers are given the opportunity to win up to £1million through the prize draw with other cash prizes of up to £100,000, £50,000 and £25,000 also up for grabs.
Smaller cash prizes are also available through the NS&I product, however Premium Bonds has become well known for the jackpot prize worth £1million.

The first £1million Premium Bonds winner this month is from Stockport. They had the winning bond number 408VD714629.
This individual, who has not been named, purchased the winning bond in November 2005, which is valued at £5,000. Overall, they had a holding worth £50,000.
Joining this bond holder as a millionaire is a NS&I customer from Edinburgh, who has the winning bond number 352AC359547.
Similar to the first winner, the winning bond is valued at £5,000 with the customer have an overall holding of £50,000. The winning bond was purchased in February 2019.

How to check if you have won a Premium Bonds prize
Customers are able to log onto the NS&I website and use the financial institution's online prize checker.
However, they will need their holder’s number which you can find on your bond record, or in the app. It is also possible to use their NS&I number which you should be able to find on any communication about your bonds.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
According to a Freedom of Information request (FoI) obtained by AJ Bell, around two-thirds of Premium Bond holders, equivalent to just under 14.4 million people, have never won a prize.
The average holding for the 5.3 million Premium Bond holders who won a prize between June 2023 and May 2024 sat at £23,047, with 80 per cent of those who received a prize won more than once during that period.
Over the 12 months to May 2024 the average holding of someone not winning was £175, showing that those with very small balances are unlikely to win.
