A new Twirl bar from Cadbury will be hitting supermarket shelves very soon

Cadbury is set to launch a new chocolate bar in a win for millions of consumers.

The chocolate brand plans to introduce a new Golden Dipped Twirl bar to British shops before the end of 2026.

The confectionery maker confirmed the upcoming release, describing the product as a limited-edition offering that will be available across the country.

According to the company, the new bar retains the signature flaky chocolate centre that Twirl fans know well.

However, this updated product will see the traditional milk chocolate exterior for a golden, caramelised white chocolate coating.

A spokesperson for Cadbury confirmed the nationwide rollout, stating: "Yes, the rumours are true! Some of our eagle-eyed fans may have spotted that the new limited-edition Cadbury Twirl Golden Dipped bars are coming.

"We'll be unveiling the bars nationwide later this year, so keep your eyes peeled for further details on the launch - we promise, it will be worth the wait!"

The announcement arrives precisely twelve months after the company launched its White Dipped Twirl in May 2025, a limited-edition variant that drew comparisons to the discontinued Cadbury Snow Flake from the early 2000s.

Based on its latest financial results, which were published in September last year, Cadbury successfully bounced back after losing the Royal seal of approval.

The Birmingham-based firm was removed from the list of Royal warrants, which are awarded to businesses or services used by the monarchy, towards the end of 2024 after 170 years.

Despite this blow, Cadbury was in the green after a surge in European sales boosted its profit during the most recent financial year.

Accounts filed to Companies House revealed that Cadbury's turnover leapt from £155.8million to £206.5million in 2024.

It should be noted that UK sales remained level at £64million last financial year, but turnover in Europe more than doubled from £49.3million to £103.6million over the period.

However, the concessionary chain's sales dropped in other parts of the world from £41.5million to £38.7million over that year.

Overall, Cadbury's pre-tax profit also jumped from £42.3million to £52.4million.
