Ever since the breakout of the Israel-Hamas war in October, there have been huge numbers of pro-Palestine protests across the world, particularly in the West.
In the UK, antisemitic messages have been plastered across the Big Ben and in the US hundreds of protesters have been arrested at university demonstrations.
Matt Goodwin, professor of politics in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent, has claimed the alliance and rise of the Far Left and radical Islamism is a serious threat to the West.
Taking to X, he posted a video alongside the caption: "The toxic alliance between the woke left and radical Islamism presents a serious threat to Western nations."

In the clip he said: "We have to be very clear about the main threat that's facing western civilisation and that threat in the next few years is coming from an alliance between radical Islamism and the radicalised cultural Left and they share many key things in common.
"We just need to be clear about what those things are. They are both revolutionary belief systems. They are not just radical.
"They want to completely overthrow western ways of life and values. They both subordinate individual rights behind group identities.
"They have no serious interest in preserving individual rights. They would both happily sacrifice free speech and free expression on the altar of their religious or political claims.
"They are both organised around rituals. They are iconoclastic. They are antisemitic.
"They are anti-democratic and they are enabling one another through their distinctive belief systems.
