Originally from Sligo, Ireland, he lived in a home in Surrey.
Shane and his wife bought a property in Cobham around 15 years ago.

Cobham is a charming part of Surrey with a long history.
It has lots of places to enjoy a relaxing walk, such as the nearby Painshill Landscape Garden.
The park is praised by those who have visited as it has 4.5 out of 5 stars on Tripadvisor. One reviewer said it had a "lovely landscaped garden".
They added: "The views from the hilly area across Surrey were fantastic.
"We chose the ‘long’ walk which wasn’t that long as the state is only 160 acres. The landscaping and the lake are very attractive."
One more added: "A lovely place to visit [with] beautiful views.
"The guides available at each spot give a great and interesting view. A lovely walk we ended up being there about 2.5 hours."
