While great skin care is often considered the key to anti-ageing, you can't rely on collagen creams, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and SPF alone.
To turn back the clock – not to mention feel better than ever – a holistic, wellness-based approach is crucial.
GB News spoke exclusively to Lisa Schultz, a nutritionist, personal trainer, weight loss expert, and life coach, about what she does to look 10 years younger.
Dedicated to maintaining her health, she enjoys a wholesome diet, regular exercise, and plenty of shut-eye.
Lisa told GB News: "I'm 41, but people often think I'm in my early 30s. My secret? It's not one thing, it’s a lifestyle.
"As a nutritionist, I teach the SHINE method. It's a method I follow daily.
"SHINE stands for Sleep, Hydration, Investing in rest, Nourishment, and Exercise. It's been a game-changer not just for my energy and digestion, but for my skin too."
To avoid a dull, flaky complexion, Lisa drinks around three litres of water every day and eats "tonnes" of hydrating foods. Examples of high-water content foods include lettuce, cucumber, strawberries, and oranges.

As well as stocking up on fruits and vegetables, the 41-year-old consumes "very little processed, salty, or sugary stuff".
Excessive sugar consumption can lead to the production of AGEs, which "reduce skin elasticity, accumulate pigments, produce wrinkles, destroy the skin barrier, and induce inflammation", researchers warn.
Telling us her exercise regime, Lisa revealed that she moves her body every day – "even if it's just walking".
"It gets blood and oxygen flowing to the face, which helps me look more awake," she said.
'Honestly? The biggest difference comes from sleep and rest'

The quadragenarian takes a wellness-based approach to anti-ageing, opting for natural methods over "Botox or filler".
She "religiously" applies sunscreen and generally sticks to a "consistent skin care routine", although she admitted "it's nothing fancy – just a good cleanse and a nourishing oil at night to lock everything in".
"But honestly? The biggest difference comes from sleep and rest. If I look calm, it's because I actually am calm, and that shows," Lisa added.
"Everything in SHINE works together. You can't out-skin care an unhealthy lifestyle."
According to Wesper neuroscientist and sleep expert Dr Chelsie Rohrscheib (PhD), ensuring you get seven to nine hours of good quality sleep each night is "one of the best ways to maintain a youthful appearance".
She previously told GB News: "A lack of sleep causes inflammation and swelling, leading to puffy or dark under eyes.
"It also affects the quality and elasticity of our skin because sleep promotes blood flow and collagen production.
"Chronically poor sleep can lead to premature skin ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles, a dull or dry appearance and discolouration."
