From essential moisturisers to vital exfoliants, there are a number of skin care products that can help banish wrinkles, keeping your complexion looking refreshed no matter the weather.
However, a skin care guru has named a specific "elite skin care combo" that has helped her shave 10 years off her age, transforming her 50 years into just 40.
Taking to TikTok to show off her skin care journey, Kristina Maay treated fans to her skin care secrets, including which products to pair up for a much younger look.
In a recent video, the guru revealed: "Glycolic acid has finally restored my skin barrier and I'm now using tretinoin. I'm actually so proud of my skin at 50."

Dubbed an "exfoliation expert" by the skin care experts at L'Oreal, they lauded the chemical product, explaining: "Glycolic acid works across the board as an anti-ageing product.
"It removes excess and dead skin cells, it boosts cell turnover (which in turn decreases the dips that form wrinkles) and it is an active cheerleader of collagen production, spurring it on from first use."
The acid also doubles down in its benefits, combatting active acne inflammations while reducing past acne scarring. "This one-two punch makes it a favourite of acne sufferers the world over," they added.
The product is also lauded for its exfoliation properties, as well as its highly hydrating nature. "These two powers combined and it’s unstoppable (especially in the winter)," they said.

Meanwhile, tretinoin is similarly applauded for its ability to "stand the test of time and rigorous scientific scrutiny", according to the Academic Alliance in Dermatology.
"Revered by dermatologists and skincare enthusiasts alike, tretinoin cream has become a cornerstone in many skincare routines," the experts proclaimed.
A type of vitamin A, the cream is simply a topical retinoid, generally deployed to treat acne.
However, it has recently become regularly used to combat wrinkles and sunspots by accelerating cell turnover.
Speeding up this process assists with unclogging pores as well as smoothing the skin's overall surface.

One of Kristina's followers rushed to the comments to rave about the benefits of glycolic acid combined with tretinoin, just as the TikToker recommends.
"I swear by Glycolic acid! I have been using it for almost 20 years. I started Tretinoin about five years ago. I refused to stop my glycolic acid on alternate days," she admitted.
"Although I have always been fortunate to have clear skin this combo levelled up my skin tremendously!"
In response, Kristina replied: "Wow Alana, you were onto the glycolic early!! Your skin must be amazing! This is such an elite combo! I love glycolic so much."
