Sainsbury's has updated its website to help customers shop for British items
Sainsbury's stocks hundreds of British products in its stores and it has made it easier to find these items online.
Shoppers can see all of this stock in a new 'Best of British' section on its website.
The page will shine a light on groceries that are 100 per cent British sourced, helping customers to buy local from the supermarket giant.
There are more than 450 items in this category, including meat, dairy, eggs and chilled essentials.

Bespoke British recipes are also available giving inspiration to shoppers to make British staples such as beef Wellington or a British salad.
Those shopping in stores can identify products sourced in the UK by checking the labelling and packaging, as well as on permanent display signs.
Chief executive officer at Sainsbury’s Simon Roberts said: “Many of our customers want to support British suppliers and make more conscious choices when doing their food shop, and our new Buy British webpage helps them to do just that through a curation of over 450 quality, 100 per cent locally sourced products.
“We recognise the pressures that British farmers are facing and the importance of supporting them to maintain a resilient UK food system for the long term.
"Our relationships with farmers and suppliers are incredibly important to us and we remain committed to sourcing British as much as we can, now and in the future.”
The products in this category will change depending on what is in season, helping Britons to shop seasonally more easily. The supermarket giant works with more than 15,000 British farmers every year to produce its local stock.
This comes as the supermarkets that stock the most British food was revealed by GB News.
The move by Sainsbury's follows other British supermarkets in pushing the 'Buy British' campaign.
