Bringing together sharp pineapple notes with smooth coconut flavours, the sweet treat creates what the brand calls a refreshing take on the original sticky ginger loaf.
It can be found for £1.75 at Morrisons, Spar, and Nisa stores nationwide. Shoppers will also find it at discount retailers like B&M, Home Bargains, Farmfoods, and Heron Foods.
The cake works perfectly as a dessert, whether you fancy it warm or cold, promising to deliver that holiday feeling regardless of the weather outside.
Catherine Morgenroth, Marketing Manager for McVitie's, shared: "We couldn't be more excited to launch the first new flavour for this much-loved cake since 2009."
She described it as "a bold, tropical twist on a beloved classic, blending zingy pineapple and smooth coconut for a taste that's pure sunshine".
It's clear the brand sees this as more than just another product launch - they're bringing something genuinely fresh to a cake that's been a household favourite for generations.
This launch comes just months after McVitie's shook up another classic range with Hot Honey Jaffa Cakes, which hit Asda stores exclusively earlier this year.
The spicy-sweet creation tapped into the viral 'swicy' trend, mixing honey sweetness with chilli heat in place of the traditional orange jelly.
Priced at £1.50, the Hot Honey variety represented a major departure from conventional Jaffa Cake flavours and later expanded to other retailers from late July.

These bold moves show McVitie's commitment to breathing new life into its traditional ranges while keeping the core elements that people love about these British favourites.
Jessica Woolfrey, Marketing Manager for Jaffa Cakes, said: "At Jaffa Cakes, we're known for doing things a little differently.
"As the only cake in the biscuit aisle, it makes sense that our newest flavour brings an unexpected twist.
"We're super excited to introduce Hot Honey Flavour to the Jaffa Cakes family - tapping into the viral 'swicy' trend with a perfectly balanced sweet-meets-heat flavour."
