With summer in full swing, British chains are updating their menus to keep fans on their toes this season, with McDonald's being the latest to entice loyal customers.
The fast-food chain is set to launch the innovative Jaffa Cakes McFlurry across restaurants nationwide, combining a beloved British treat with their signature ice cream.
The summer menu refresh also features customisable soft drinks for the first time ever, allowing fans to enjoy exciting summery flavours from July 30.
Customers will be able to enhance their Sprite Zero with fruit-flavoured syrups in either green apple or mango and passionfruit varieties.

The new McFlurry combines dairy ice cream with chocolate-coated shortcake pieces and orange sauce, reimagining the classic British treat as a frozen dessert.
Meanwhile, the heat-seeking crowd will welcome the return of Spicy Chicken McNuggets, featuring jalapeño-spiced coating on pure chicken breast meat, arriving alongside the optional Spicy Chilli Dip for additional intensity.
Regional variations include the Chicken Big Mac across most locations, whilst Tyne & Tees exclusively receives the Steakhouse Stack with twin beef patties and peppercorn sauce. East Anglia alone gets The Big Tasty range.

Additional comebacks will include Chilli Cheese Bites with spicy accompaniment, the Milky Way McFlurry featuring chocolate stars and malt pieces, plus the Fajita Chicken One wrap.
The Big Arch burger and Frank's RedHot Mayo will also stay available throughout the summer, thanks to their popularity.
So far this summer, McDonald's has launched Side Missions through their mobile application, offering weekday food bargains and weekend prize opportunities. The four-week programme, which began on July 14, provides exclusive app users with discounted items.
Weekday offerings include McNuggets for £1.39, £5 Shareboxes, and 15 per cent reductions on orders exceeding £15. Weekend participants can secure immediate rewards without draws or delays.
