Now, to add some extra pizzazz to your lunch, Asda has introduced a trio of limited-edition deli fillers at £1.48 each, in response to what the retailer describes as a "Sandwich Boom" sweeping across Britain this year.
Each 250g container offers five servings, meaning that there is plenty to go around a family of five.
First up, the flagship Cheese Burger variant features cooked beef meatballs paired with gherkins and mature Cheddar, all bound in a sauce combining tomato ketchup, Dijon mustard and mayonnaise - and is actually a first-to-market innovation for the retailer.

Heat enthusiasts will appreciate the Spicy Chilli Cheese option, which blends mature Cheddar and Red Leicester with jalapeño peppers in a chilli tomato mayonnaise.
Completing the range, the Chicken & Stuffing variety incorporates fresh chicken breast with sage and onion stuffing, finished with a gravy-style mayonnaise. The particular combination mirrors one of Asda's most popular Food To Go counter offerings.
Asda's Product Development Manager for Antipasti & Dips, Hayley Cancea, offers inventive serving suggestions for the new range, lauding the supermarket's latest offerings.

"I really love this new deli filler as it's an all-rounder," she said, reviewing the Cheese Burger variety, recommending it loaded onto chips or nachos for effortless comfort dining.
For the Spicy Chilli Cheese, Hayley suggested: "My favourite way to enjoy this one is in a hot breaded toastie, and if you're a cheese lover like me, don't be shy to pad it out with some extra sliced cheese to get that ultimate cheese pull!"
She proposes serving the Chicken & Stuffing filler in miniature Yorkshire puddings as party canapés.
