A fiscal injection of around £10 million into the supermarket will also see cafés adopt a more relaxed coffee shop ambience

Asda has unveiled a £10 million investment programme to transform over 180 of its in-store cafés across Britain, kickstarting a fresh new revamp for the British supermarket - with a new menu to boot.

The chain's refreshed café selection will blend new trendy offerings with beloved classics, with additions including smashed avocado on toast, katsu chicken curry, and topped salad bowls.

More traditional fans ought not to worry, however, as the supermarket will retain its classic British favourites such as full English breakfasts and fish and chips.

The modernisation project, which commenced this month, is scheduled for completion by the end of October.
