Drivers are being warned of long delays on the road today as Storm Goretti causes travel chaos across the UK.
National Highways has issued a number of traffic warnings across the UK, urging drivers to consider their plans before travelling this morning.
The A628 Woodhead Pass in Derbyshire is closed in both directions between the A616 (Flouch) and the A57 (Hollingworth) due to snow.
Traffic cameras show long delays and standstill congestion as motorists attempt to travel to work during the busiest times of the day.

Motorists who would normally use the Woodhead Pass are being advised to use the M60, M62 and M1 as an alternative route.
National Highways added: "Road users are also advised to allow extra time for their journey. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey."
The A2 in Kent is also closed in both directions following a collision between the A258 (Swingate) and A256 (Waldershare).

The stretch of road has been closed near the Port of Dover, with National Highways reporting that the Air Ambulance is attending the scene.
Kent Police is also responding to the incident, although the transport organisation maintained that the accident was in its "early stages".
It added: "At present there is currently no estimate for when re-opening of the road can take place."

Drivers are also facing difficulties on the A30 in Cornwall, with a large number of fallen trees blocking the route.
Specialist teams are on the scene and working to clear the trees from the carriageway between A394 (Longrock) and A3074 (Longstone).
