More than 150 employees have been evacuated from a Honda factory in Spain after a massive fire broke out.
A fire has ripped through the Montesa Honda motorcycle factory in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, prompting an emergency response from fire services.
The Montesa Honda factory near Barcelona, Spain, has been established in the industrial area since 1944 and employs hundreds of workers.
Reports from Spain state that 30 fire crews rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames, with the threat being eliminated hours after it was first reported.
According to the Bombers de la Generalitat (Firefighters of the Generalitat in Catalonia), the fire was extinguished around three hours after it first received the alert.
It stated that the 20,000 square metre warehouse had "burned completely", with the fire affecting the interior of the factory and the roof.
In updates posted to social media site X, formerly known as Twitter, the Bombers confirmed that employees had been evacuated and that no personal injuries were reported.
Firefighter units also requested the evacuation of workers from nearby industries, given the intensity and spread of the fire.

A further update stated: "28 grants Bombers evacuate the industrial warehouses closest to the affected one (up to Mediterranean Street).
"We request the confinement of workers from other companies in the industrial estate. The affected warehouse has collapsed and the fire remains active."
The fire was ultimately extinguished, with the fire service monitoring the smoke plume and "controlling small ignitions originating in the surroundings of the fire (bushes and others)".
Bombers confirmed that the fire had been contained, with the deployment of firefighters being scaled down.
