Chinese manufacturers Jaecoo and Omoda appeared in the top 10

Many of the most popular brands in the world ranked in the top 10 best-selling cars for April, as well as some relative newcomers to the market.

Almost 150,000 new cars were registered in April, representing an enormous 24 per cent jump in year-on-year sales, with electric vehicles capturing more than one-quarter of the market.

Using data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), GB News has rounded up the 10 best-selling new cars in April 2025.
