A popular car brand has unveiled ambitious plans to expand its operations across three major markets, with an announcement at the 24 Hours of Le Mans festival.
Genesis Motor Europe is to enter markets in France, Spain and the Netherlands. The luxury automotive brand expects to begin customer deliveries in these markets by early 2026.
The announcement represents a significant milestone for the Korean manufacturer, which currently operates in Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
The company has positioned itself as a leader in premium electric vehicles since entering the European market in 2021.

Xavier Martinet, managing director at Genesis Motor Europe, described the expansion as transformative for the brand.
He added: "Our entry into these important markets is a pivotal moment for Genesis. We are moving now to deepen our long-term presence and commitment across Europe.
"This is the most significant market expansion since we launched in Europe in 2021 and is the start of our next phase of measured, strategic growth, and sporting brand direction."
Genesis will offer its complete electric range across the new markets, comprising three models that have recently undergone significant updates.

The GV60, a luxury compact SUV and the brand's first purpose-built electric vehicle, has earned multiple industry accolades.
Martinet highlighted the appeal of Genesis's electric range, stating: "Our distinctive electric models have strong European appeal and the demand is growing.
"With these new markets, and our audacious approach to motorsport, we look forward to introducing new customers to our design-driven performance brand."
The Electrified GV70 serves as the flagship SUV, combining dynamic capabilities with premium comfort features.

Meanwhile, the Electrified G80 luxury saloon offers exceptional refinement with an extended wheelbase configuration, representing the most comprehensively specified Genesis available in Europe.
All three vehicles have received extensive improvements, including cutting-edge technology additions, refined styling updates and enhanced battery specifications that deliver increased range and improved performance capabilities.
The expansion was revealed as Genesis Magma Racing made its debut appearance at the iconic endurance race, marking a dual commitment to both market growth and motorsport excellence.
Genesis Magma Racing's participation at Le Mans marks the team's first appearance at the legendary endurance event, with support from IDEC Sport.
The racing programme has already achieved notable success in the European Le Mans Series, securing multiple victories and strong points finishes during its inaugural season.
The Le Mans entry represents a crucial development in Genesis's motorsport strategy ahead of its planned factory debut on the World Endurance Championship calendar in 2026.
The manufacturer will compete with the GMR-001 Hypercar, demonstrating the brand's technical capabilities and international performance ambitions.
