Warwickshire Police will continue to conduct investigations into the causes and impacts of the collision.

National Highways reported that the closure is "expected to remain ongoing for several hours throughout today".

National Highways has outlined a diversion route for motorists near the M69 this morning to reduce traffic levels.

It warned: "If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey."
