Jaguar Land Rover has published its first wholesale and retail sales report for a "challenging quarter" since a devastating cyber attack forced production to be suspended.
In the second quarter of the financial year, Jaguar Land Rover's retail sales dropped to 85,495 units, a 17.1 per cent decrease compared to the three months to September 30, 2024.
Similarly, its wholesales in quarter two of the 2026 financial year fell 24.2 per cent to 66,165 units.
JLR highlighted a number of factors that impacted the brand's sales record over the last three months.
In addition to the cyber attack, JLR was also hampered by tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump and the wind-down of legacy Jaguar models ahead of the launch of the new electric Jaguar.
Retail sales in the second quarter were 8.7 per cent down compared to the first quarter of the financial year, as it dealt with lingering issues.
Volumes were down in all markets, including a 32.3 per cent drop in the UK, a 22.5 per cent fall in China and a 15.8 per cent decline in the Middle East and North Africa.
It acknowledged that the UK was particularly impacted by the winding down of Jaguar models and the cyber attack.

A reduction in domestically produced vehicle sales from Chery Jaguar Land Rover China JV (CJLR) was partially offset by imported vehicle sales.
Commenting on the results, CEO Adrian Mardell emphasised that it was a "challenging quarter" for Jaguar Land Rover.
He said: "In the first two months, our performance was robust and in line with our expectations, against the backdrop of the planned wind-down of legacy Jaguar models and the impact of incremental US tariffs.
"From the start of September, we have been responding to a cyber incident, which shut down our production. Since then, we have worked with retailers to prioritise the delivery of our world-class vehicles to our clients."
