Drivers could face issues when looking to have their cars serviced or repaired in the near future, as mechanics look set to strike.
Mechanics at four Hedin Mercedes-Benz dealerships across London and Kent are being balloted for strike action over pay.
Unite, the UK's leading trade union, said workers were angry at Hedin Automotive for refusing to offer a suitable pay rise.
The mechanics, who operate at Brooklands, Bromley, Croydon and Dartford dealerships, said they were angry at the company for not putting forward any pay offer for 2025.

In 2024, workers received a two per cent pay rise, with Unite noting that the average rate of RPI inflation was 3.6 per cent.
The union added that the refusal to offer a pay rise could have an even larger impact on workers as the RPI inflation rate has jumped to 4.5 per cent in April 2025.
Sharon Graham, general secretary of Unite, said: "Hedin cannot expect its workers to keep swallowing real terms wage cuts.
"Unite defends our members' jobs, pay and conditions to the hilt. Hedin’s workers have their union's full backing in fighting for a fair pay rise."
The workers are being balloted until June 9, with strike action impacting Hedin customers who require repairs, servicing and MOTs.
GB News has contacted Hedin Automotive for a comment regarding the potential strike action.
A spokesperson from Mercedes-Benz UK told GB News: "We are unable to comment on discussions between our Agent partner, Hedin Automotive, and Unite."
Lui D'Cunha, Unite's regional officer, noted that Mercedes-Benz would "not be happy" that the brand is "being dragged into a dispute" over workers facing a pay cut in real terms.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Unite noted that the real terms pay cut was happening to mechanics in one of the most expensive cities in the world, while the cost of living crisis is still having a huge impact.
D'Cunha added: "Nor will their customers be pleased that they are facing disruption to getting their cars serviced, repaired or MOTed.
"There is still time to avoid industrial action, but that will require Hedin putting forward an acceptable pay offer."
Hedin Automotive operates across Europe, with more than 330 of its own dealerships and over 800 sales points.
