Drivers along a popular route in the South of England are being warned of long delays after a multi-vehicle collision and lorry fire.
The A303 in Wiltshire is closed westbound between the B3095 and B3092 near Mere, with delays of more than four hours expected.
National Highways has reported that a multi-vehicle collision involving a car and a heavy goods vehicle occurred earlier today.
The lorry then left the carriageway on the A303 and caught fire in a nearby field.

The transport organisation added that the recovery of the HGV would be protracted because the position of the vehicle is around 10 feet into a grass verge.
Several large trees will need to be removed from the scene before the recovery can commence.
National Highways area team is assisting Wiltshire Police with traffic management and the clear-up of the incident.

Traffic maps show that the road is expected to clear at around 9pm, with normal conditions expected at the same time.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: "We were called at 10:33hrs on Monday 21 July to a road traffic collision near Mere.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, and a tactical commander to the scene.

"We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Yeovil District Hospital and another by land ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital," Somerset Live reported.
Long delays can now be seen with slow-moving traffic along the A303 to the intersection with the A350 and the A390.

- Exit the A303 westbound and follow the A350 to Shaftesbury
- Continue along the A350 passing through East Knoyle and Sedgehill
- At the Ivy Cross roundabout, take the B3081 (third exit)
- Follow the B30181 passing through Gillingham, Wyke and Stock
- Rejoin the A303 westbound
