When the second-generation Blade Battery is paired with one of BYD's revolutionary Flash Chargers, the EV can charge from 10 to 70 per cent in just five minutes.
Even when charging from 10 to 97 per cent, it will take just nine minutes, while motorists in freezing -30C temperatures will have to wait just 12 minutes for it to charge.
BYD has already confirmed that it will look to roll out the Flash Chargers across Europe and the UK in the near future to help drivers make the switch to electric vehicles.
Denza is also releasing the Z9GT as a plug-in Super Hybrid version with three electric motors and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.
