'Unsafe to eat': Aldi recalls fish product in urgent warning over 'labelling error'

The Food Standards Agency stressed that use-by dates relate directly to food safety, unlike best-before dates, which concern quality.

Foods can harbour bacteria and may cause food poisoning if kept beyond their true expiration or stored at improper temperatures.
