The pop star has also arranged to meet the families after the show

Taylor Swift has invited the families of the victims of the Southport stabbings to her final show of the eras tour in the UK, GB News can exclusively reveal.

The pop star met some of the children who were involved in the attack earlier this week and has now invited the families of the three girls who died to watch her perform at Wembley Stadium this evening.

The children were targeted in a horrific knife attack whilst they attended a Taylor-Swift-themed dance class in Southport last month.

Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, lost their lives, while eight other children were stabbed alongside two teachers who tried to protect the children.

After the incident, Swift sent her best wishes to the families in a heartfelt statement.

At the time she said: "The horror of yesterday's attack in Southport is washing over me continuously and I'm just completely in shock," she began on her Instagram post.

"The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and first responders.

"These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families."

The families invited to tonight's concert will also be meeting King Charles at Buckingham Palace in London tomorrow.

Today, the King travelled to Southport to meet some of the children that survived the attack.

After meeting the victims and the families, the King is expected to move on to the community fire station where he will thank the firefighters and emergency service members who risked their lives both during and after the event and with the riots that followed.

He will also be meeting faith leaders from all communities in the fire station.

Violence and disorder broke out across the UK after the three girls were killed and false information was spread online that stated the suspect was an immigrant.

The King asked for daily updates on the situation and released a joint statement with the Queen that said he was "profoundly shocked" by the attack.

They said: "My wife and I have been profoundly shocked to hear of the utterly horrific incident in Southport today.

"We send our most heartfelt condolences, prayers and deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of those who have so tragically lost their lives, and to all those affected by this appalling attack."
