Shaun Bailey has hit out at Carol Vorderman after being branded a “misogynist” by the presenter.
It comes after the former Conservative candidate for London Mayor commented on her “massive platform” on GB News last week.
"On one hand, she's a serious political commentator, and then if you look at her Instagram, it's all pictures of her bum and her boobs. What is it? She can't be both," he said.
Bailey admitted to using a “clumsy form of words” in a response branded “pathetic” by Vorderman.

Speaking on GB News, Shaun Bailey defended his comments as he hit out at the former BBC host.
“Did I express myself in a clumsy way? Of course I did. But the point stands”, he said.

“She is a glitzy, positive celebrity, as her Instagram would show. If you go on her Twitter, she is a bully.
“She has pursued people. She organises pile-ons that create great vitriol and hate.
“The amount of racist abuse I have received as a result has been incredible.”
Bailey went on to praise the former Countdown host, saying she has enjoyed “incredible” success throughout her career.

“She’s a very successful, very active, intelligent woman”, he said.
“But on the other hand, she is organising real bulling. Some of her comments about people like those who don’t have a degree, saying they aren’t of value.”
Asked if he would like to apologise for comments made about Vorderman’s physical appearance, Bailey insisted he does not.
“No”, he told Patrick Christys. “What I want to do is make the point about this.
“Yes, I was clumsy, but I was trying to make the point that we are in a country now where we are at each other’s throats.
“She is a chief architect of that.”
Vorderman was invited onto GB News to discuss her point of view, an invitation which was not taken up.
In response to Bailey’s comment, she said on X: "Tory Shaun Bailey is a MISOGYNIST #SexistShaun - the Jingle & Mingle Partygate apologist".
She added: "Shaun thinks that women who wear lycra in the gym shouldn't be allowed a political opinion.... or I assume a vote!
"Failed mayoral candidate #SexistShaun was made a lord last year. Yet another Tory honour for dishonour."
