Sir Rod Stewart has announced the cancellation of six US tour dates as he continues to battle flu, just three weeks before his scheduled appearance at Glastonbury Festival.
The 80-year-old rock legend took to Instagram in the early hours of Saturday morning to share the news with fans.
"I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu," Sir Rod wrote on the social media platform. "So sorry my friends."
The singer expressed his deep disappointment about the postponements, which affect performances planned for the next eight days.
"I'm devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I'll be back on stage and will see you soon," he added, signing off with a heartbreak emoji.
The cancelled performances include three shows at the Colosseum Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, and one at Lake Tahoe Amphitheater at Caesar's Republic in Stateline, Nevada.
Two additional dates at California casinos will be rescheduled rather than cancelled outright.
These latest cancellations follow the axing of his scheduled June 2 and June 5 performances at his Colosseum residency.
