Comedian Ricky Gervais left his X followers in fits of laugher with his recent video as he promoted his vodka brand Dutch Barn alongside his former After Life co-star.
Five years after the award-winning Netflix show aired, Gervais reunited with dog Anti on a not so dissimilar bench to the one in the series.
In the video, the pair engaged in a hilarious “conversation” about Gervais’ sustainable Vodka brand, which seemed to impress Anti.
Kicking off the advert, Gervais said: “Research shows that using a dog in your advert makes people more interested in your product so…”
Pointing to his left, he added: “There’s the dog. There is the product, Dutch Barn. What is it?” leaving the dog to bark his “answer”.
Agreeing, Gervais continued: “Yeah. It’s what? Made from British apples and is friendly to the environment, you are joking! How much?”

Anti barked once again and left Gervais to giggle: “30 f***ing quid, really? Why so expensive?”
Fans of Gervais and After Life were thrilled to see he had reunited with Anti once again and commented on their “perfect” partnership for the advert.
One commented: “Honestly, this is the best one yet. You two make a great duo.”
“Loved the ad! Nothing sells like a cute dog. #DutchBarn always knows how to catch our eyes!” another added before a third quipped: “Come on Ricky, we know exactly what it's saying.”

Another pleased viewer penned: “Oh Ricky that's the laugh I needed today!! You and Anti.” (sic)
Gervais became co-owner of Ellers Farm Distillery in November 2023 to create the vodka which is forming an ever-growing fanbase.
