Inside Patrick Christys and Emily Carver's first holiday with baby son George as GB News stars share family photo album

Patrick was the first to update fans from the breathtaking location, posing with baby George in a smiley snap at the start of last week.

"Can’t beat a bit of father and son time on holiday," the GB News star wrote in the accompanying caption, prompting a flood of sweet messages from fans.

Patrick even gave fans a peek into his fitness regime, showing off the results of his recent weight loss journey.

In a rather sweaty video, Patrick thanked his coach back home as he proved he wasn't letting his workouts take a back seat even while on vacation.

Patrick soon returned to social media to share how close he and Emily got to the stingrays swimming in the crystal clear waters nearby.

And there was plenty of time for fun and games, as Emily showed off the slide that was situated near their cabin, which resulted in hours of joy... for Patrick, at least.

Emily explained: "While the baby naps… (We spent our last day in the Maldives in a villa with a ridiculous slide. A one hit wonder for me… couldn’t get Patrick off it)," she penned alongside a laughing emoji. (sic)

After returning to the UK, the two then shared a collage of photos from their break in the sun, and it looks like it was a fabulous time for the new family.

In a particularly heartwarming snap, Emily papped her husband paddling in the sea with his baby son, who was protected from the sun in a little sun hat.

Patrick also caught a snap of an unsuspecting Emily soaking in the rays as she sat on the white sand while watching the waves beyond.

Patrick then shared a snap of the venue where they were staying on the small Asian island, tagging Ozen Reserve Bolifushi in the post.

The fun for the father and son didn't stop there, as Emily caught a snap of her husband and baby son in their swim gear after a dip.

And what would a luxurious trip aboard be without mouth-watering dishes which, judging by the empty plates on show in a sweet picture of Emily and George, went down a treat.

In Emily's collection of snaps, there was much of the same, with an adorable carousel of snaps showing her other half and baby son enjoying some well-deserved time away.

And there was even some downtime for just mum and dad, who both beamed for a smiley selfie during dinner at the luxury resort.

In his final update from the Maldives, Patrick gave fans a tour of their hotel room, and it's safe to say he was blown away by their stay.

"Paradise - still can’t believe we got to spend a few days here @carveremily," Patrick penned on Instagram.

Fans of the People's Channel pair quickly rushed to share their delight at the updates, with many expressing their joy that Emily and Patrick's first holiday with baby George went so well.

"Your holiday pictures are amazing. Glad you both enjoyed a well-deserved break," one Emily's followers penned in response to the pictures.

A second echoed: "Stunning photo .. Looks like you had an amazing, well-deserved break."
