Former couple Paddy and Christine McGuinness are understood to be embroiled in a tense dispute over the sale of their £6.5million Cheshire property, which has sat on the market for more than a year without attracting buyers.
Sources close to the pair claim Ms McGuinness has grown increasingly exasperated with the situation, alleging her TV presenter ex is deliberately pricing the seven-bedroom mansion too high.
"Christine is getting really fed up now," a source told The Mail on Sunday.
"She wants to move on but it seems with it being priced so high, Paddy doesn't want her to."

The insider added: "Paddy doesn't want to downsize. He wants a big house to fit with his ego.
"It feels like a control thing. He knows he will never get £6.5million for it. It feels like he's playing silly games."
The Prestbury property, located on a private road in the celebrity hotspot, was purchased by the couple for £2.1million in 2020 – meaning they have listed it at more than three times what they originally paid.
Friends of Ms McGuinness have accused the 52-year-old presenter of overpricing the mansion because his "oversized ego" prevents him from wanting to leave.

| PALocal property experts have expressed astonishment at the valuation, describing it as "overhyped" and noting that comparable homes in the area are selling for at least £1million less.
Despite other sellers in Prestbury reducing their prices to secure quick sales, Mr McGuinness has maintained his asking price since the property was first listed in March last year.
The listing describes the home as a "traditional-meets-modern, voluminous home [and] is all about the family but in an opulent way."
Estate agent David Votta offered a scathing assessment of the property's valuation, suggesting the asking price may be influenced by the owner's celebrity status.

He told MailOnline: "Let's be fair, Paddy McGuinness is a household name.
"But this isn't Matt Damon or Elton John territory. So why the huge price tag?"
Mr Votta pointed out that a superior property with a swimming pool and better marketing can be found on the same road for £1million less.
"A house is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it," he added.

The couple ended their 11-year marriage in June 2022 but continue to reside together in the property with their three children, occupying separate rooms.
Ms McGuinness, 38, revealed she was bisexual in June 2025 during an appearance on the How to Fail podcast.
Since opening up about her sexuality, she has been romantically linked to several women, including DJ Roxxxan, with whom she was photographed kissing, and Strictly star and Olympic boxer Nicola Adams.
She also reportedly had a relationship with a high-profile soap actress.
Mr McGuinness, meanwhile, who is set to host the BBC's Big Break revival, has been linked to Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher following the separation.
