Margot Robbie has kept fans talking following the Wuthering Heights UK premiere on Thursday evening, thanks to her striking outfit.

The 35-year-old actress has been sporting Georgian-inspired clothing for her red carpet appearances promoting her role as Catherine Earnshaw in the latest adaptation of the Emily Brontë classic.

The Australian actress stars alongside Jacob Elordi as her character's love interest, Heathcliffe.

Thursday's premiere saw the actress braving the cold with a sheer Dilara Findikoglu dress.

She completed the look with a replica of one of Charlotte Brontë's bracelets, which was understood to have been made from the hair of her sisters Emily and Anne.

Ms Robbie's red carpet appearances have become a topic of conversation, with the actress and Mr Elordi showcasing their apparent chemistry at the premieres.

Mr Elordi went as far as to describe the duo as having a "mutual obsession" while they filmed the tragic romance.

Ms Robbie's eye-catching outfits have prompted strong reactions from onlookers, with the London premiere outfit choice proving no different.

"I love the escape that it offers, often diving into a world, especially like this one which is so big and cinematic and a time without cellphones often makes things feel more romantic."

The actress, who also served as producer on Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Emily Brontë's beloved 1847 novel, emphasised the director's deep connection to the source material as crucial to the project's integrity.

Earlier in the week, Ms Robbie had already turned heads in London wearing a Dilara Findikoglu corset top with pink floral detailing, paired with low-rise black denim jeans.

Charli XCX, initially commissioned to write a single track, ultimately composed an entire album for Wuthering Heights, featuring songs including Chains of Love, Wall of Sound, and House with the Velvet Underground's John Cale.

The film opens in UK cinemas on February 13, with the soundtrack releasing simultaneously.
