Lorraine Kelly has returned to social media with a positive health update following her recent surgery, telling fans she's "on the mend".
The 65-year-old ITV presenter shared a photo of herself enjoying the sunshine in her garden yesterday, just as news broke that her morning show would be significantly cut from January 2026.
Posing in a white floral blouse and black trousers from her Bonmarche collection, Kelly ignored the news of her show's future.
Instead, she wrote on Instagram: "The sun is shining, I'm on the mend, and it feels so good to be getting back in the garden."

Kelly returned to her ITV show on Monday, just two weeks after undergoing keyhole surgery to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes.
Speaking on her programme, she explained the procedure was necessary after experiencing "terrible pain" during a flight from India in January, which turned out to be a burst ovarian cyst.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Loose Women will face similar cuts which will see it off air for half the year
ITV"I went to see Mr Raafat, we had a scan and did all of that and he said on the other side there is an ovary that looks a bit dodgy, best to just take it out," she told viewers.
The presenter praised the medical team at Heatherwood Hospital in Berkshire, saying she was "looked after so so well".
The broadcaster announced on Tuesday that from January 2026, Kelly's eponymous breakfast programme will be cut from its usual hour-long format to just 30 minutes. The show, which Kelly has hosted for the past 15 years, will air from 9:30am until 10am instead of its current 9am to 10am slot.
In a further blow, the programme will only run seasonally for 30 weeks of the year, rather than year-round as it currently does. The changes come as part of what ITV described as a "major rehaul" of its daytime schedule, affecting several of the channel's popular morning shows.
Good Morning Britain will be extended to run from 6am until 9:30am instead of its current 6am to 9am slot. During the 22 weeks when Lorraine is not on air, GMB will occupy the entire time slot until 10am.
The changes will also impact staffing arrangements, with Kelly's Friday stand-ins Ranvir Singh and Christine Lampard no longer needed, as the presenter will host her shortened programme five days a week.
This Morning and Loose Women will remain in their usual respective slots, though Loose Women will also move to a seasonal 30-week schedule while maintaining its hour-long format from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
The reshuffle comes amid a cost-cutting drive at the broadcaster. Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV's Media and Entertainment Division, explained: "Daytime is a really important part of what we do.
ITV announced the daytime overhaul on Tuesday
PA"These scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres."
ITV says the savings made will be directed into dramas and major sporting events, including the next football World Cup. The changes will also allow the broadcaster to "consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output".
Kelly has been recovering at home with her husband Steve, who she said "had to do everything" during her initial recovery. "I'm not allowed to hoover, I'm not allowed to lift anything," she revealed.
Despite these restrictions, the presenter has been enjoying time with her new granddaughter Billie, calling her "the best medicine in the world".
Kelly is still under medical instructions to take it easy, telling viewers that her surgeon advised she shouldn't lift her "substantial" granddaughter until "the end of the month".
The presenter has not yet commented publicly on the upcoming changes to her programme.
