The son of the late rock legend candidly opened up about his struggle with grief while in the jungle

Kelly Osbourne has taken to social media to show her support for her brother Jack Osbourne after he was left in tears during Monday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The 40-year-old became visibly emotional when discussing his father Ozzy Osbourne's passing with fellow contestant Lisa Riley. The rock icon passed away in July, aged 76.

The Black Sabbath frontman died following a heart attack after years of battling Parkinson's disease. His death came merely weeks after his final performance with the legendary band at Birmingham's Villa Park, marking the end of an extraordinary musical career.

Sitting beside the campfire with Emmerdale actress Ms Riley, Mr Osbourne said of his father's sudden passing: "It was definitely a shock.

"I mean, we knew he was sick for a while, but it was definitely a shock, I mean, we didn't know it would be that quick."

Fighting back tears, Mr Osbourne described his father's final performance as "the ultimate mic drop", saying: "He did a massive big gig and was like, 'Alright, I'm done'."

Speaking privately in the Bush Telegraph, Mr Osbourne later acknowledged the rawness of his grief. "I'm still navigating it all, it's been three, nearly four months, and so it's still pretty fresh," he admitted.

Despite the pain, Mr Osbourne expressed confidence that his late father would have endorsed his participation in the reality programme. "He'd be so supportive of this," he told Ms Riley during their emotional exchange.

The conversation resonated deeply with viewers, who took to social media to express their sympathy, including his own sister.

"So proud of you Jack!" Ms Osbourne penned on Instagram in response to a clip of the conversation, followed by a crying emoji.

Meanwhile, over on X, the social media platform was similarly awash with a slew of fans' reactions to the emotional moment. "Aww this conversation between Jack and Lisa #ImACeleb," one X user penned.

A second echoed: "This quiet moment between Jack and Lisa with them both talking about losing a parent and about Ozzy was so touching I want to see more of them #imaceleb #imacelebrity." (sic)

Elsewhere, a third: "Jack tearing up about ozzy and lisa comforting him with talking about her mum passing what a lovely moment please don’t do this to me #imaceleb."

Another weighed in: "I really liked the way Lisa handled that talk with Jack about ozzy, and letting Jack talk about his dad / his dads death so gently and in his own way on his terms, without it feeling like a nosey interrogation, felt genuine and like a genuine care for his loss and grief #ImACeleb."

"That incredibly raw moment between Lisa Riley & Jack Osbourne discussing Ozzy Osbourne’s passing has hit me in my feels #ImaCeleb," added a fifth. (sic)

The candid revelation from Mr Osbourne comes just a few days after his mother, Sharon, tearfully opened up about her own grief battle on the family's podcast.

In doing so, the former X Factor judge revealed US President Donald Trump had contacted her directly to leave a message of condolence via voicemail.

After sharing the details of the voicemail, she added: "For him to take his time to do that for us, because do you know what, he doesn't live in a bubble, he knows what's going on in the streets."

Elsewhere in the episode, Mr Osbourne's campmates, Angry Ginge and Ruby Wax, took on the first Bushtucker Trial of the series, titled The Divey.

The pair had to chow down on a series of stomach-churning items, such as camel's toe and crocodile anus, in the hopes of earning stars for camp.

Luckily, the duo spurred each other on, and they racked up a perfect score of 10 stars, meaning their campmates would eat well that evening.

Kelly Brook and Martin Kemp also managed to bag some chocolate for camp after successfully taking part in the first Dingo Dollar Challenge of the year.
