The new I'm A Celebrity campmate and the presenting duo endured a rather frosty encounter during Sunday's premiere

A former Britain's Got Talent judge has spoken out to address the alleged feud between Kelly Brook and Ant and Dec after the trio faced an uncomfortable encounter during Sunday evening's I'm A Celebrity launch episode.

Ms Brook seemed to receive minimal recognition from the duo after she skydived from a helicopter upon her arrival in Australia, despite her fellow campmates receiving a warm welcome from the pair.

The 45-year-old model's arrival marked their first professional interaction in over a decade, following a bitter dispute that has divided them since 2009.

The conflict originated when Ms Brook joined Britain's Got Talent's judging panel in 2009 alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan as the programme's first fourth judge.

Her tenure lasted merely one week before she was removed from the show, with the four-judge format initially deemed too complex.

Ms Brook subsequently claimed that ITV executives informed her she had "upset Ant and Dec", which she said effectively ended her opportunities within British television.

The model alleged the presenting duo orchestrated her departure, stating they "didn't want me on the show" despite maintaining pleasant interactions to her face.

She suggested their opposition stemmed from perceived snobbery, believing they looked down on her Page 3 background and questioned her credentials.

Now, following the awkward encounter, Ms Brook's former BGT co-star, Mr Morgan, has spoken out to address the tensions between the trio.

Mr Morgan appeared to find humour in the awkwardness of the entire feud, sharing a snap from Ms Brook's BGT days alongside Ant and Dec on his X page.

He wrote in the accompanying caption: "As Kelly Brook goes into the I’m A Celebrity jungle, a throwback to when she was a judge on @BGT for just two days!

"Be interesting to see how she interacts with Ant and Dec given she blames them for it. They weren’t happy when she asked them what they did on the show," he added, followed by a laughing emoji.

Ms Brook's dramatic I'm A Celebrity arrival saw her circling above the beach in a helicopter, pointing down at the presenters whilst shouting: "Ant and Dec, I'm coming for you!"

The hosts responded from below with a simple "Come on, Kelly," accompanied by laughter. Upon landing alongside rapper Aitch, the group engaged in minimal conversation before swiftly moving forward with filming requirements.

The brevity of their exchange contrasted sharply with Ms Brook's animated demeanour as she ran towards fellow contestants with outstretched arms.

Social media erupted with observations about the strained dynamic, as viewers recalled the longstanding animosity between Ms Brook and the Geordie presenters.

Another user wrote: "Just realised. Doesn't Kelly Brook not like Ant and Dec after what happened at Britain's Got Talent? #ImACeleb."

A third contributor questioned: "Kelly Brook, and Ant & Dec on the same show... Again! What could possibly go wrong?" (sic)

Viewers expressed surprise that the trio would reunite professionally, given their well-documented dispute from the talent show era.

In their 2010 autobiography, Ooh! What a Lovely Pair: Our Story, Mr Donnelly revealed Ms Brook had asked him, "And what do you do on the show?" during BGT rehearsals, comparing the slight to a similar question from the Queen.

The presenters wrote they "didn't agree" with Mr Cowell's decision to hire Ms Brook and couldn't understand the rationale for adding a fourth judge.

Ms Brook later responded that the dismissal devastated her career, claiming: "There was nothing I could do in this country after Britain's Got Talent."

Ms Brook currently presents a show on Heart and regularly appears on ITV's Loose Women as a panellist.
