Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones has hit back on reports she "unfollowed" Adam Peaty on social media after being "snubbed" from the swimmer's wedding to Holly Ramsay.
Reports on Monday claimed Ms Jones had severed her social media connection with Mr Peaty, unfollowing the Olympic swimmer on Instagram amidst Mr Peaty's ongoing family feud.
The 36-year-old dancer was absent from the star-studded ceremony, despite other Strictly alumni including Dan Walker and Sara Davies being spotted among the guests.
Ms Jones and Mr Peaty were partnered together during the 2021 series of the BBC dance competition, where they developed what appeared to be a genuine bond.

|However, taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Ms Jones shared a screengrab of various media reports on the theory, writing: "Please can journalists get their facts right before making statements."
Hitting out at presenter Lorraine Kelly, she continued: "And @lorraine @itv do their research before running the story.
"I have never unfollowed Adam. And me having a quiet Christmas after Strictly season - is not a subliminal message!"
Wednesday's Lorraine, hosted by stand-in host Christine Lampard, included a segment in which the "unfollowing" on social media was discussed with Vogue Williams.

She continued: "That was a big wedding. I thought they were really close friends when they were doing Strictly.
"She basically has unfollowed him, which is very telling.
"You can mute people, you do not have to unfollow - you can mute.

"Around the time of the wedding, she [Ms Jones] deleted social media.
"She said she was grateful for what she has and is getting rid of toxic energy."
Mr Peaty and Ms Ramsay exchanged vows at Bath Abbey in December, with a reception held at the exclusive Kin House, though the occasion was overshadowed by a bitter family rift.
Caroline Peaty was left devastated after being excluded from Holly's hen do at Soho Farmhouse, an event attended by Victoria Beckham and the bride's mother Tana.
